Battlefield 3 BETA!

I've just received an email from Dice stating that the early access Beta is coming in September.

Early access is available to those who bought MoH Special edition, about the only thing MoH was good for!!

MoH players get BF3 beta 2 days early. Should be around 25th Sept.

looool that's funny Jroo .... and thx. for the info regarding the Beta, I was already searching for any infos regarding the availability. 'Around the 25th September '... I didn't expect the Beta that late.

September 29th for open Beta, 27th for MoH players and Alpha players.

Played it last night and knowing its a Beta its freakin AWESOME!!!
There's a few problems there for sure, the squad system sucks because you get in a lobby as a squad but in the game your all split up. Me and Jon managed get in the same squad for a few games but couldn't hear each other, i expect a patch is imminent, plus i think problems may be arising from the fact so many people hitting the same server at once.

The important one though is the gameplay is just amazing, its a lot harder to get kills but just seems so much more realistic.

Found this may give us some heart

Even in its Beta format, its still better than CoD!

My first dabble in Beta mode was a bit disheartening, being blinded in daylight from 60 feet by a mini maglite got tedious. Being shot to shit in a split second by someone lying prone after emptying a whole belt of link at them (Without one hit, not even a crease in his trousers!) didn't impress me much EVERY time it happened. I'm hoping that the finished project will be a lot better or it will just be a game that favours the quick, young bastards who thrive at COD because of its gadgets. As for laser pointers, dont even go there. I've become a bit disillusioned by gaming recently & if BF3 goes down the same path of being unfun to play then I'm taking up basketweaving.

Dont get disheartened with gaming ive heard on the grapevine that EA sports are making Basket Weaving 12 aswell as Crochet Street 12. Also microsoft are making Airfix simulator X and finally Call of Cross stitch is on the horizon
